Re: Any way to get away from this hand?
I'd prefer a raise preflop 4-handed, no need to get tricky with the limp-reraise. Just raise and you have a decent shot at isolating the LAG if he 3-bets you. Post-flop looks fine. Fast-playing is best against LAGs, and while it looks from the title of your post that you lost to something like A9 or a set, post-flop is still fine. You can't fold this against this opponent, or anyone without a solid read.

Re: Any way to get away from this hand?
Why are you limping UTG?
The purpose of limp-reraise is to protect your weak hands that you limp with. But in a 4-handed game, you will be better off if you don't limp UTG at all. You are giving the blinds too much when you don't charge their random hands with your superior hand. Flop is perfect. If SB is a LAG, you might want to cap the turn because your hand is likely best and you will not get re-raised if you are wrong. River is fine. |
