Top Set on Flop.. Too fast?
I thought the pf raiser had an overpair, and someone could've been drawing. I didn't wanna play guessing games on the turn...

Re: Top Set on Flop.. Too fast?
"someone could've been drawing."
Or BB already has the straight. I think you raised too much since BB has such a small stack and is likely to be drawing. If BB hits it wont hurt you too much + it's not clear if he wont fold to MP's raise. I would not raise that much to keep MP in, but dont know the proper amount either. Best thing that could happen is: you just call, BB pushes all-in, MP calls, you push all-in... But just calling MPs raise is risky if you are not sure if BB would push a draw all-in there... |

I think you raised too much since BB has such a small stack and is likely to be drawing. [/ QUOTE ] so you want to allow him to play optimally and draw for cheap? this cant be right |

BB could already have the straight? Then why did he fold.

Re: Top Set on Flop.. Too fast?
You played this just fine, a lot of hands can connect with that flop, and you want to make them pay to draw out on you.
