I've always played with the US list. Getting a Q near the end in a close game was usually a death sentance.

The new US list allows qi, however. It will significantly lessen the number of tile exchanges made.

It also allows qadi (which it should have allowed all along). I once lost a turn playing qadi because it wasn't in the freaking scrabble dictionary (even though it was in my REAL dictionary). Bah humbug.
