Default BELLAGIO CHIPS ?

Im in lv right now and am going to be bringing home some chips from Bellagio. Ive never been anywhere else besides vegas but was wondering if these type of chips can be changed easily in other casinos like the borgota, tunica or commerce? Im going to be going during the tournaments so it would be easier to carry a few chips rather than cash. By changing them i obviously mean between players...is this standard practice for any of the la or vegas players?

If I'm in Tunica and some guy offers to sell me a few hundred dollars in Belagio chips, I'm going to tell him where he can stick them.

If you go to the Bellagio cage, you can exchange their chips for some pieces of green paper. Any casino in the the United States (and lots of other places in the world) will be happy to give you some of their chips in exchange for the pieces of green paper. It is a truly magical world we live in.

I don't know why people are giving you so much [censored] for this. I have done it, and see it done all the time - mainly with Commerce/Bellagio chips.

I guess there may be some level of familiarity with the trading parties, but I once won a bunch in Vegas and didn't want to cash out huge, so I just brought the chips back to LA and over the next few weeks just traded them with people making vegas trips. This is a very accepted practice in the poker world.

This is probably pretty easy to do in LA, but it may be much harder to find willing parties in (e.g.) tunica or AC since the traffic between LA and Vegas is much higher. It's certainly possible you'll find someone, but you can't count on it, especially if you're talking about a large amount of chips you're looking to move.

ok thanks guys...ive heard this but wasnt sure about ac and tunica. sounds like only for LA ill bring chips.
As for me being too lazy to cash in the chips lol...its alot easier to just bring some 1k & 5k chips on tourney trips rather than stacks of bills. So i suppose its lazy
