5 stud bodog structure?

Is this normal? Bodog, 5-stud, 2-4, I make trip deuces on 3rd
and this guy doesn't believe me (even though I opened
for a completion). I lead for $2 with my open pair.
He raises it to $6 (not $4)! I can call or make it $10! (and
it's not PL or NL)

is it supposed to be like that? or is this a programming error?

When someone pairs their door card you have the option to double bet or single bet.

okay, I get the idea, but I'm confused on the detail: at what point is 3rd street (with an open pair) fixed at the lower limit? note that in my hand, I led out for the smaller limit ($2, in 2-4) and the next player made it $6. it sounds like, from how bodog states the rule here, that once I bet 2, that should have been the limit, no?:

"Third Street: After the first round of bets have all been called, each player is dealt another face up card, called "Third Street." Now, the highest showing hand opens the betting round. If a pair is showing for any hand on Third Street, *that* *player* has the option of doubling his(or her) bet amount, and "raising the stake" for this betting round. Otherwise, Third Street bets and raises are limited to the small stake.

So, let's say we're in our $5/$10 game, and your facing cards show a pair. You now have the option of doubling the bet to $10, and if you do, any subsequent raises have to be the upper stake limit of $10. **If you choose not to double up, the bet/raise amount stays at $5 for this round.**"

first to act determines it, or first to act and first to raise both can?

Any player has the option of making it the double bet, but if you make it a double bet then all raises from then on are double bets
