$33 - Review my bubble play - I suspect poor play - Episode 1

(This is edited to be a series, so there may not be poor play in this bubble, but the next one I post there may be. I'm not interested in looking bad beats or whatever, but overall play on the bubble. Thanks again)

Alright, I've been on a bad run, and I'm starting to think it may not just be variance. I think I'm slipping from solid play to frustrated play at times. But I could be wrong.

Anyway, I'm looking for a couple of people to check these bubbles and point out mistakes. I've tried to make it easy to read so it's not too laborsome.

It takes a while to convert all of the hands (one by one) so I'd apprecitate some feedback.

Hand 5: That was the 2nd time in 5 hands that that guy (UTG in this case) limped in. He limped from the button earlier. I'm pushing with 44. The only thing that sucks is that the shortstack SB may call. But I push here.

Hand 7: You've got enough FE and a decent enough hand to push here UTG, I believe.

7. This was a tough hand, because I know people are folding AJo in this situation becauase they don't want to run into a bigger A or a pocket pair.

10. Do you have an ICM for this (I should be buying this program this week, so if not, I'll just look it up later.) I would have pushed with 87s, but 68s seemed a little weak if I get called.

Thanks for the replies (both of you). During the game, I thought about those hands. 44, thought about it, A8s thought about it. So, at least I thinking about the hands I need to be thinking about, now I just need to start making the correct decisions.

Just from my personal experience, I would have pushed hand 7, the hand w/ 44 is tough b/c of the caller, that one would have depended on how I was feeling. Playing at the 10's I don't think I would have pushed hand #10, but I'm sure others know better

No, I haven't ICM'd it (yet), I'm simply going on what I'd do at the table in your situation. 44 is a strong hand and the UTG limper is playing so loose that you can pick up the 150 overlay from him ~75% of the time (at a rough guesstimate) even if/when the SB calls your push, so the coin flip is more than worth it with the overlay. Also, consider the SB will sometimes have A2/A3/A4 as well in his range of hands.

Oh and I certainly wouldn't fold AJo there, people who do are losing out on +EV big time, I am sure of it, and that's without doing any calcs. The 86s, you really need chips, and you only have to get two people to fold, both of whom have you covered but not by a huge amount - you can do damage to their stacks - they are comfortable enough not to want to mess without top 10% hands.

In response to the few hands in question...

Hand 5 is a pretty clear push, but only if you think UTG can fold. If you're not sure, it's probably pretty close either way, though I'd probably push it more often than not. Since UTG has such a big stack, it's more likely he's limping less than premium hands.

Hand 7 is actually a pretty marginal push unless these guys have been pretty tight, which hasn't really been the case. I'd probably fold it.

Hand 10 is an eaaasy eaaasy push, even with a pretty loose calling range. I'm pushing any 2 cards here every time. With 5 BBs and the button, it's likely the last chance you'll have to push with decent position and any FE.

Assuming a calling range of 44+, A7+, KJ+ we're looking at

$EV Fold 13.8% / $41.46 $EV Push 15.1% / $45.29 $EV Diff. +1.3% / $3.83

Not even close.

Everything else is pretty standard.
