What the heck does this mean?
After miniraising preflop, villain bets 200 into 65 chip pot. Obviously i am not calling him without a monster made hand, so I very rarely get to see what these donks have when they make bets like this. Other than the fact that he is a complete idiot, what does this bet mean? I could see your average donk betting KQ or JJ this way, as well as a complete bluff (like A9 or AK)

Re: What the heck does this mean?
My guess is that he has a very strong hand (high PP, a set) and wants to charge the [censored] out of draws. He's not bluffing you, I can guarantee you that.
After a donkish mini-raise, and the overbet of this flop, I wouldn't be surprised if he had aces or kings. At least this is the pattern of a bad player. These are the same guys that mini-raise out of the BB after 3 or 4 limpers, get their aces cracked, and then complain about bad beats. Regardless, this should be the easiest fold ever for you here. |

Re: What the heck does this mean?
I usually take that to mean he's terrified of the three straight cards and two flush cards on the flop, so he's really over-betting to shut down the draws. Usually the donk's hand is so marginal, though winning at this moment.

I wouldn't even rule out AJ.
