Looks like he had some specific reads on the blinds for these plays... shrug. Although, with all the tables he's playing, maybe not.

Nah in the first, I use poker grader so it automatically gives me their VP$IP and so forth, the guy in the BB was a solid player. I don't think he's calling with a wide enough range to make Q8o a bad push here.
