Default Tough Spot with bottom 2.

I dont post in this forum much, but i just started playing 6 max $50 NL, and i found myself in a predicament. Is this too much action for bottom 2?

Table is 4 handed. Blinds .25/.50
Villain has $86 and hasn't been out of line. I cover him.
I'm BB with 57d and a very LAGgy image.
Button minraises to $1.
SB fold. I call.

Flop A 5 7r Pot = $2.25
I check. (I usually lead out, but i chose a different line)
Villain bets 1.5
I raise to $4.
Villain reraises to $8.50
I call - with plans to re-evaluate the turn.

Turn 3 - completes rainbow Pot ~$20
I check
Villain bets $2 !?
I raise to 15.
Villain reraises to 33. (Leaving $45 behind)

What's my play? Am i ever good here?
Advice on all streets is welcome.

Thanks

Jason

Lead turn and lead flop. Your line is so wierd it is hard to put villain on a hand.

The check raise on the flop is not that bad, but don't check again on the turn.

This hand is entirely read dependent. Against a solid player I fold, but I don't give most 50 NL players that much credit.

I don't like the turn check either, but what is your read on villain? A strong ace seems likely...I'd probably call and block the river.

Don't like your c/r c/r on flop/turn. I much prefer to lead/lead.

As played, I think I call and see a river. Its hard to block the river because villan has less than a PSB by the end. Although I see no other option. Can anyone give a good, optimal river play here?

Well, usually i will just lead the flop, but for some reason, i felt checking was right here. I definitely see merit for leading the turn tho.

If i do lead the turn, am i folding to a reraise? Am i folding at all?

Regardless of the results, I felt very confused on during this hand.

c/r on the flop is ok but you have to lead the turn. i cant even figure an optimal strategy here for the river. probably lead if river is low, check call if river is high card
