Should I have just doubled my flop bet. I didn't really put him on a hand here... so I just figured he had a weak ace or something and wanted to put him in so he didn't hit his two pair on river.

Doubling your flop bet on the turn would be well over half your stack so you might as well go all-in then.

I'd be inclined to bet about the same amount that I did on the flop. I want him to call me here because he probably has a weak Ace, but I don't want to give him enough odds to draw in case he's got a gutshot draw.
