how to adjust raising/3-betting standards for tight table?
i'm sitting at a .5/1 table right now that it is probably 60% folded to the blinds. i want to lower my standards of raising but i'm not sure how "low" to go or only lower based on position.
any ideas/opinions? |

I would do it by position, I'm kind of tired right now so I will let others elaborate, but play it like 6 max.

Re: how to adjust raising/3-betting standards for tight table?
well it doesn't depend on how often it's folded to the blinds, it depends on who the blinds are- are they just as tight? from CO and button be raising any PP, any Ace, KXs, KXo(x>5) Q8o, basically focus on high card strength- no so much connectedness or suitedess. But make sure the blinds are tight as well, if they will call any raise then raise only w/ good stuff.
from MP its hard to open raise w/ a week holding because i get the feeling we're more likely looking at a 3bet than a coldcall. might just have to fold. i dunno if this was helpfull at all. i doubt it. look here for 6max starting chart and play accordingly, when the first 4 fold it becomes a 6max game. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...mp;sb=5&o= |
