The Party $100 re-buy/add-on

Will someone either point me to a link which explains the rebuy/addon rules or explain them?

The rebuy part seems clear enough, but when and how can you add-on?

from the most recent posts I have read, you add on after the 3rd break, when the rebuy is 1xBB. May only be certain ones, but I imagine they are the same

That's pretty silly.

I also can't believe they fully juice every rebuy and add-on.

the quality of play more than makes up for it.

watch when its 300/600 blinds, someone busts, then rebuys for 1000 chips...

its an amazing tournament, and i've run good in it so far, all cashes but no FT...hopefully changes tonight

They've changed the rules.

UNLIMITED rebuys for $109 for the first hour
One Add-on (Two if below T1000) for $109 (each) after that

Weird play. I think I like it but I'm not sure. Most of the people play like it's a freezeout. Most of the people don't realize how expensive a $109 rebuy can be.

And to make it worse, you really can't play it like a normal rebuy. For example, if you made 3 rebuys/addon you'd be up to $436 so you'd break making the Top 20 (Top 30 usually pays). So you really need to limit your rebuys to make it even marginally attractive.

when I play the party rebuys before this flipflopping I always intially rebought then tried to play solid. Didn't always happen...but yeah [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
