Default I Raise A5s on the BB

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, MP1 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

River: (9 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 calls.

Final Pot: 11 BB

I'm interested on Preflop and the Turn/River line. I raised preflop since I read something in HPFAP about raising with a hand like this to entice players to stay in the pot. Table wasn't normally this loose.

Villain is 14.52/3.23 and WTSD 30.77 after 62 hands and he almost never has shown any aggression.

wasn't it for when you were OTB, or maybe the CO to make this type of play?

There's a paragraph mentioning how you should sometimes raise with hands like JTs, a small pair, A5s after a few limpers. It says it'll make players stay in should you make the but flush or wheel since the pot is bigger. More FTOP errors or something. Thought I'd try it out.

im not sure i like the raise considering you'll be oop. i do this occasionally from the button or cuttoff with small pp or suited connectors with 4+ limpers to me.

the problem i see is that you'll rarely flop a good draw. what's your line if you flop an ace? these big pot tpnk situations are a big leak for me?

I can see why you'd want the callers the minority of the time you flop a flush draw, but what about the majority of the time you pair your ace?

I don't have that much trouble folding TP/BK.
