"ok, that'll be around $100,000."
"ok, do you mind if i pay you in nickels?"
"excuse me?
"nickels. some guy offered me 100k in nickels or 10,000 in cash. i took the nickels. they're all real, you just have to deposit them into your bank."
"ok...uh..sure, i guess we could."
"thank you."

BTW, let's say your rent is $500, I highly doubt your landlord will take 10,000 nickels as payment, since he'd have to count them and cash them in.

i think everyone is kind of skirting around the premise of the question. you cant just cheat and have someone else do it.

also, the OP said "if you want to buy something, you must use only the nickels"

I think it's funny that so many people here don't realize that nickels are legal tender and any store in this coutnry is LEGALLY REQUIRED to accept them as payment.

i was just trying to show how easy it would be to get rid of the nickels for something worth 100k, and how stupid of a poll this is.
