I avoid any responses which could possibly insult the weak player being attacked. I think a good first line is: "Don't be such a crybaby. We're trying to have fun." Usually, I find it necessary to repeat one or more variations of this message before the offender shuts up or leaves. These variations can be just one word (i.e., CRYBABY!) or more lengthy comments regarding why poker is a poor passtime for individuals with such low frustration tolerance, how low frustration tolerance is reflective of poor self-esteem, how verbal aggression can be an attempt to compensate for sexual inadequacy, or that they might find the play money tables to be less stressful. [ QUOTE ]
"Please be quiet"

0% chance of shutting him up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your goal is not to shut him up but stop him from chasing the fish away so directing his attention toward you is a good thing. The thing with "stop biting the hand that feeds you" and the like is that the fish reads it too and it'll make him think... I think Lori's two comments are the best because you make the fish feel his got an ally and that the TC is just a stfu. The only thing that matters is what goes through the mind of the fish. Let the TC trash talk you all he wants as long as he keeps away from the fish.

"If you can't even beat him when he plays bad, why would you want him to play good?"
