Do you deny a crying girl a cold piece of pizza?
I was somehow just reminded of a funny situation from freshman year that involved the bitchiest girl I've ever met. What's your line here?
For a little background, I lived in a dorm during my freshman year at Cornell. At the end of my hallway lived a girl we'll call 'Natalia' -- to be blunt, she's a huge bitch. Snotty, selfish, materialistic, and hated by most of floor. On one of the first nights of the year, she had invited the entire floor into her room for some drinks before our respective Friday evenings would commence -- nice gesture, right? Wrong. She was charging people $2.50 for shots out of a $30 bottle of vodka that her parents gave her before she left from home. There were at least 30 shots in the bottle, and she hadn't paid a dime for it. Bitch. At any rate, a few of the guys on the hall and I were playing pok... uhh, cribbage in the lounge at the end of the hall one night, and we'd ordered a pizza. None of us were that hungry, so there were three fairly cold pieces sitting in the box when our friend Natalia walked in hysterically crying about something totally inconsequential and meaningless. Now as much as the girl is a bitch, I don't usually see a reason to unnecessarily rub salt in people's wounds -- so I basically gave her half-hearted sympathetic apologies while paying her little to no attention. At this point, between sobs, our depressed and binge-happy floormate asked me for a piece of pizza. I'm not usually a cold or heartless person, but I really wanted to charge her $2.50 for the damn thing. NOTE: poll answers actually correspond to the topic this time. vote away!

As much as I'd like to say I'd charge her for it, I personally would just give her a slice. I tend to be pretty generous with food, beer, etc.
Plus, you giving her a slice means that you're taking the high road. It's +EV for sure.
