Default Hello. My name is TJD and I am a weaky/tighty - 77

At lower limits my aggression was pretty high but it has now drifted lower. Some of this is deliberately rope and dope policy but I am sure I have gone too far and am trying to crank it back up

I hope you will help with a few hands where I just want to check whether my I am gettting it right. Thanks all.

I don't think you can value bet that river.

A 9 is always calling and a 6 will checkraise often.

We've seen that SB likes his hand with the turn donkbet.

I can't see you folding any hands that you beat either.

A river check here is standard. Against some players, you can value bet that river.

I think your line was fine. SB most likely has a 9, 6, or a busted draw. There is no value in betting river.

I'm a tighty too, but I think you should bet that river. What with the preflop raise, it's unlikely the 6 helped anyone. If he had a big hand he would have 3-bet you on the turn.

Occaisionally that river bet will cost you versus 88 or A9, but I think this is outweighed by the times you will be called by ace high.

The probability of a sane player calling with A high is approximately zero.

I like it. His donk bet when the 9 hits could mean you're beat, but this line gives you the free showdown since he could be fearing an overpair. An if he was betting a 6, he's looking to check raise you on the river, so your check behind is perfect.
