Default Typical tournament situation ~10BB stack

Hello all !

Here is the situation I was in yesterday :
ParadisePoker 50k R&A. Blinds ara 300/600 middle of that level. I have about 6k and I am in middle position. Two limpers.
Now with what hands I push here ?
AA/KK for sure.
AK/QQ ?
JJ/1010 ?

Is this situation desperate enough to push with JJ-99 or it is better to wait.
I had QQ and pushed, correct ?

Best wishes!

I would probably push with QQ, but you could make a smaller raise if you think it will get more action.

The two limpers have built a pot for you, unless you have good reason to suspect the first limper is trapping, 22, KJo, ATo, and 76s seem like good hands to push with.

If by push you move all-in then I wouldn’t with AA,KK or QQ because you are probably ahead and you need to get your big pair paid off, so you don’t want to chase both of the limpers out of the pot, so raise it up say to 3000. AK yes move in you need to see 5 cards if you are called by a pair.

99 TT & JJ it rather depends on my opponents, if I am sure that limping equals weakness rather concealed strength I would move all-in in hope to take it there and then or at worst be a slight favorite in 50:50 or if I'm lucky be on the right end of an optimistic call from a big stack with a smaller pair

I would be a little more careful if one of the limpers had shown himself capable of slow palying big hands and if I had more chips might just take a flop with 99 TT or JJ, but when you are short you have to take a chance or 2 so I would probably move.

regards

Ross

With 2 limpers, a push for 10xBB might not be bad depending on how the table is playing. If there is a real good chance you will be called, you might go ahead and push with a big pair.

How big are the limpers' stacks?
How big are the blinds stacks?
How wild are they?

If all are very tight, I might push with a huge range.
