I started off the first hand pushing AKs from UTG just for kicks and got no callers but alot of chatter. Hit a straight with AKo against AA to more than double, and have pushed a few people around enough that they made comments. Button seems solid and passive. I had raised the 2 previous hands and taken them both down preflop. Buttons call of my raise means he has a good hand. Range of AK- AT, QQ-99, maybe KQ-J..

I don't like the turn check, he isn't going to believe the 4 helped you if you fire another half at the pot and will probably call with overcards anyway. The risk with checking the turn is that if he is on overcards he will fold to your river bet if he missed.

On the river as you played it I would pot it, if he has a queen he will at least look you up or may think you are bluffing and raise you.

Your hand is so incredibly disguised, I see no need for slowing down or getting tricky. On the flop I'd bet 3/4ths, same or more on the turn, and lead again on the river. Given how they think you are wreckless, just keep abusing that image when you actually have a hand. The check on the turn just seems silly to me.

its not a continuation bet when you have a hand, it is a value bet. why would you check the turn? unless your hoping he will fire at you sensing weakness. not very good if your reasoning is your letting him "catch up". The reason for this is that #1 if he misses on the river, you will not get anything more out of him and #2 he called your flop bet, what makes you think he will not call a turn bet.

the turn, i would fire out another 180 (trying to feign weakness by not increasing the bet), but i can also see throwing out a 1/3 or 1/2 pot bet (this may scare him away though).
