Don't mean to crowd the boards with simple hands, but this felt shaky. 3rd hand of a party 11. Caller hasn't shown down a hand, but I'm thinking "hey...2 hands and he's down to 580, probably a bit weak/loose." So just the mechanincs are my question: pre-flop raise, and pot sized flop bet. Thanks

Call. Yes. He may have you beat, but there are a lot of draws out there that he could be playing.

And seeing how this is a 10+1, he could also have A9.

Dont judge a player by stack size.

As for the hand, i see nothing wrong here. If he has you, so be it - youll see A9, TT-QQ far too often to fold, even if you have an inkling he has flopped big.

Yes, if he has a bigger stack, i play this. Id need a damn solid read to be laying down here, and i dont think i have any notes that are that are so solid on anyone ive met for me to be able to lay it down.

Again, if he has you beat, them are the cuts, cant win em all.

I had a hand a couple of days ago that went kinda like this: In level 1, I raise PF with QQ, BB calls. He checks and I bet 2/3 the pot on the T86 flop; he calls. I bet 2/3 again on the blank turn, he CR's all in, I call and he turns over Q7o.

$109's, people.

oh man, i see where this is going...

i think you're point about knowing nothing about him expect hwo he already blew 25% of his chips is excellent, people can get tilty real fast (me inlcuded)

looks like a healthy preflop raise and im calling the reraise with KK...but not AK

so what did he have 7's or 9's ?

I like the raise preflop, you figure it's a real healthy raise from MP so they have to figure it. With a flop of low cards and rainbow, I call this every time. Well played on your part
