Default River play

BB has 80+ VPIP. I saw him calling a raise with 83o in the BB. I once caught him with a river bluffbet when I checked the turn in position.

Flop is bad I think, should have raised.
River raise is OK or not? Do you call down?

Unless he's maniacal I chuck this. The river raise is great, but only if you fold to a 3-bet vs a sane opponent.

Raise the flop. Call the river based on your description of villian, but folding is probably the same EV-wise.

I really think you should raise this flop. If CO folds we may have cleared up our K outs and if he calls that is fine too. Also we might get the option to take a free card on the turn (or a free showdown vs a busted draw).
The way you played it I think you have to fold to the river 3-bet against any sane player.

I like your play and if you folded the river you are the master. I could never have done it.
