Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?
I sure am. I think Michael Robinson will create problems for the Buckeyes defense. Penn State's offensive line is playing extremely well. Add that to the fact that it's a big time home game at Beaver Stadium and I'm expecting a 10 point Nittany Lions victory.
Ohio State's quarterbacking still is an issue, as far as I'm concerned. |

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?
Ohio State's defense is WAY better than anyone PSU has played yet this year.
But yes, I could see it being a wise bet. |

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?
I managed to snag Penn St. +3.5 -111 at pinnacle earlier. Don't know much about football, just looked like a good number to grab.

I think PSU can win, but I'm a PSU alum. So take that FWIW.

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?
This just looks like one of those situations where a team that is playing well continues it for one more week in a big rivalry game than falls flat on its face after this (one of their next 2 games).
I've seen this a lot in past years of college football. |

..if you think penn st has a chance to win this g; you are drunked up; high on pot, coke, glue etc.
do you think penn st can stay with texas??penn st is tuff at home; especially as a doggie; but they got no business being on the same fiels as the buckeyes: ohio st by 14 +.. jmho gl [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] |

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?.
I agree with Scalf. I might bet a few units on Ohio St. The road is tough and Penn St. is better, but Ohio St. is going to chew up that turnover prone offense. Galen Hall's genious title will be gone next week.
I don't see 14+. I see an old-fashioned slug-fest. Defenses will rule the day. Both teams will rely on qb runs and Ted Ginn/Derrick Williams for big plays. These teams are kinda mirror images, with Ohio St. being the varsity team v Penn St. jv. I like Ohio St. by 7. Opinion still subject to change...haven't researched it yet...just gut feel off the top of my head. I'll weigh in again later this week. |

[/ QUOTE ] this defense handled vince young very well and absolutely destroyed iowa qb drew tate who was all big10. you think marcus robinson is gonna be a problem. he may have some success but i doubt he can really change the outcome of the game. as far as the oline goes, osu d is freakin sick against the run and has stifled every running game so far. even texas could only get 110 yards against them and most of those came on vince young runs in the 1st quarter. [ QUOTE ] Add that to the fact that it's a big time home game at Beaver Stadium [/ QUOTE ] this is the only thing psu has goin for them. it may be all they need tho. [ QUOTE ] Ohio State's quarterbacking still is an issue, as far as I'm concerned. [/ QUOTE ] no no no. you will be very surprised then bc troy smith is a stud. |

Re: Anybody feeling Penn State over OSU?
early betting is leaning towards OSU -3, so get that now before you lose that half point. if you like the Lions then +3.5 should be readily available through the week.
I'd say more value on the home team's line, but buckeyes still more likely to cover. I strongly doubt this game will be decided by just a field goal. |
