Default If not 9s, then what? (Party 22)

Obviously I got a little carried away preflop, usually I would need JJ+ for this raise. What would you raise with preflop? I had no real reads except that the table in general was loose.

I'd appreciate comments on other streets also...

So, the table is loose, and you raise with a marginal hand when you have to act OOP on the flop into a host of callers?

Wow, you thought that through well then.

JJ+. And on some tables, QQ+.

"looose" - I see what you mean. The good news (that you didn't mention) is that I expected them to limp with all kind of stuff. The bad news of course, that they might call with those hands also, and as you say, I am oop after the flop.

I'll grant you that it is big a problem being oop, but at least I like it better with 99 than with AK.
