IMHO the girl thinks you are a dork/loser and doesn't want to be socially crippled by being seen with you. She doesn't mind being secret friends with you, but when anyone is around she is going to be mean. Also, you aren't going to ever get to hook up with her, well until you guys are like 30 and she is more mature.

Don't worry, you'll hook up with plenty of girls in your time, you are way ahead of the curve. Wait til college.
