Congress did NOT have the same information as Bush-Cheney

One of the oft-repeated canards in this whole Iraq debate was that Democrats had the same intelligence as did Bush-Cheney before the war. Of course, this is not accurate. (Nor is it entirely relevant as almost no Democrats were clamoring for Bush to go to war. In fact, they voted to authorize Bush to go to war as a measure of last resort. Not that I agree with their votes, but they generally were trying to avoid being in the way, as opposed to actively encouraging a war.)

Anyway, this Washington Post article does a good job reviewing the false claim that Congress had all the same intelligence as Bush-Cheney.
