Default Data Mining Observation

If I play poker during the hours of 3 pm to 9pm PST,why would I mine data 24 hrs. a day.I mine from noon to midnight.People are creatures of habit and my competition usually play at the same time.If I mine the other 12 hrs. won't I be gathering data on people I most likely will not ever play against.Does anybody agree with this.

Maybe you're right. But who cares? What does it cost you to import data (but not hhf) for other times? Your database grows faster, but I don't mind that so much. (I rotate databases every few months, anyway.)

This is maybe a stupid question, but how do you datamine? All I ever did was capture all the games I played in. But a week ago my hardrive when kaploooey and I lost all my pokertracker data. I would like to rebuild my database but I'm not sure how datamining works?
