Default NL downswing - switch to limit?

I'm having a truly horrible downswing (I've had downswings before but not one like this) and I suspect I am playing worse then I use to (all the suckouts causing me to playing scared I think, which leads to weaker bets and more suckouts).
Since not playing at all is not an option I wonder if it's a good idea to switch to limit games instead (I usually play SH 5-10 NL) for a while until I feel good about my game again(I played a lot of limit before).
Good idea? I think it's less dramatic to play limit.

How about stepping down in NL? $50 ring games? Or play some SNG's? You'll be working on your NL play without quite the cost.

I've been told the swings are bigger in limit than in NL. It's hardly a safe haven.

Suppose I multitable 3-6 and my badstreak/bad play continues. Suppose I lose 150BB - that's less than 2 buyins in my regular game. Maybe a change of games could be healthy for a while, it feels like I can't play good, aggressive NL for the moment. Anyone tried this?
And if I play, say 1-2 NL, I probably play like a super LAG since the pots are so small (compared to 5-10).
I really dont know... See a shrink? Yoga? Whale Song CD's?

Or you could just take some time off and come back when you're more refreshed. You don't always have to be playing poker . . .

I think you should just step down in NL. If you play limit you'll either be playing at stakes that are hurting your winrate too much, or you'll be experiencing swings that are larger than NL. Why not step down to 2/4 for a while and get your game back on track?

If you're just looking to take a break from the NL games to clear your mind, and the money is not that important, then playing some 3/6 could be good for you.
