Strategy adjustment with overs
I posted this in B&M and didn't really get much in terms of strategy. If you don't know what an over is, basically if everyone remaining in the hand has an overbutton, the stakes double on the next betting street. Preflop doesn't count. I play in a game where nearly everyone has one so it's like having mini-blinds.
If there has been a post on this before, sorry. I couldn't find it. What strategic adjustments do you make? Implied odds go way up. I'd guess PPs become much more playable. Probably shouldn't try to steal with marginal hands. Drawing hands are no good. The game I play in is full of semi-loose passives who play horribly postflop. I'm wondering if I can loosen up even more than usual because of the overs.

I think you basically nailed it. Small pairs would play well in this situation. Drawing hands (suited connectors) go down slightly, but that's not to say they're not unplayable. As always, you just have to make sure the pot is going to be contested by enough people to lay you correct odds.
Also, always be mindful if those NOT playing overs are entering the pot or not. Their presence might allow you to draw cheaply. Conversely, if you flop a monster and stand to make many bets, you might do what you can to knock them out of the hand and get overs into play.

Personally I've only played in games with single overs (2x), double overs (4x), and PL overs simulataneously active. It was a kill game though so it could be 4x, 8x, PL. Either they are not active preflop or if everybody has one then they are active preflop. If everybody has them then you are really playing the larger game with small blinds. If the overs are optional, and esp. if there is more then one level of overs, you will start getting information from limit players who are not use to having that kind of option. Additionally some will forget and default to betting the normal number and often give you a chance to draw cheaply and charge them big when you get there (==>big river kinds of plays). Slap players and dealers who remind people in optional overs games when overs are available.
