hahah nice post.

He better be playing this as a bluff inducer (meaning: he has a big hand) because he's setting himself up to donking off chips rather easily. I'd probably min raise his turn bet then allin on the river muhahaha. thats gotta piss him off.

Chief clearly has 5/6 clubs.

[ QUOTE ]
Wow, you guys have way overthought this hand.

Hero has nothing; he should give up.
Chief either has a big hand or a semistrong hand like A8-Weak queen.
It's unlikely that Chief has air.

Can hero move Chief off his hand?

Not if its a big hand
Maybe if its a medium hand
Chief has been building a pot since the flop
Chief has played the hand OOP against EP raiser
Hero has no expectation that Chief will lay down to a big raise.
It's an $11-rebuy and far from the real money.

Certainly not an EV++ opportunity for hero.
Next hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am down with this advice. Making a second, expensive try to blow Chief off the hand just isn't worth it. Representing AA every time you miss with AK is a great way to donk off your chips.

I think this is where I messed up this hand. It was clearly push or fold.

Turn: (t3300) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets t1000, Hero raises to t2800, BB calls t1800

I'm still REALLY curious what in the world Chief is leading 1/3 the pot on every street.

Now you need to puke, fold the river and hold on to what is left of your dignity.

If Chief has air here he is officially my new hero. Otherwise, huh?
