Default 2/4 AA with one opponent.

I dunno, this one probably isn't all that mind blowing but let's discuss.

Empire 400NL full ring. Villain (24/5/1.6) has $187, I have him covered.

I get A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in EMP.

Folded to me and I raise to $16. Villain is the only caller in the SB.

Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain checks, I check.

Turn is 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain bets $30, I call.

River is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain checks. I bet $30

Like it?

I would have raised on flop and reraised on turn. Wouldn't want AA to crack

And how would that have helped you ? If our opponent had hit his T, then our goose would have been cooked.

Bet the flop, raise the turn, check down the river.

And what hand calls the flop that I beat? If I raise the turn I'm committed... he has a shortstack.

The reason I only bet 30 on the river is that he could have put me on AK. He hasn't shown much strength so I want to bait him into calling with a fairly weak hand.

True, but if I always bet weak when I want a call, then how do I ever bluff ?

I like half-2/rds pot, because Im happy to bluff with that amount too.
