Default Good action PLO card room?

Hi, I will travel around the world a year, Europe, Asia and America. I'll take any chance to play poker when there's a card room or casino in the neighborhood.

Is there anyone who knows where I can find good action Pot limit Omaha games (2/4 to 10/20 USD) in USA or elsewhere?

Caesar's IN has Pot Limit Omaha every Wednesday and usually Fridays. It is the biggest game at Caesar's IN. $10,000 pots are not unusual.

It is my understanding that the PLO game at the Horseshoe in Tunica MS is even bigger. Cash plays at Tunica and liquor is free so all the games can get pretty good down there.

Thanx man. Is Ceasars located near Indianapolis? What do people play the other days, when there's no PLO? Any game better than the other?

The Fitzwilliam Card Room in Dublin has a LAGgy/maniacal pot limit game that alternates rounds of Omaha and Hold Em. I think the blinds are 1euro/2euro but it plays much bigger than that. I also recommend their tournaments, some of which alternate rounds of Omaha and hold em. Dublin is a great city to visit as well.

If you go round the world you will probably end up in London at some point. Both the Victoria casino and the Gutshot club off pot limit Omaha. Neither are worth a special trip but London is a great place if you haven't been there.

Check out the recent thread on the Aviation Club in Paris, assuming you are travelling with some dress shoes to get in with!

Thanx for the tip, I might go to Dublin and maybe Paris. Do you know anything about The Colossus or Merrion Square clubs in Dublin? The PokerPages card room directory suggests they have PLO.

I've only played at the Fitzwilliam. If the others are anything like it, expect plenty of people who want to gambool. it was fairly common to see several people all in for several hundred Euros before the flop in Omaha! I adopted the tactic of raising whenver i wnated to play a hand. They gave some respect to raises from tighter players but if you limped it was easy to get between two players who wanted to catch the limper inn he middle regardless of whether they had a hand themselves.

I believe there is PLO game in East Chicago Indiana every Monday and Tuesday. It was a Harrah's when I used to play there, I believe there is a different owner now.

Peace,

Caesar's IN is just across the river from Louisville, KY.

Mostly Holdem. Sometimes 30-60 stud but mostly Holdem. The 2 to 10 stud almost never goes but they have Holdem. They spread $10-20 Omaha hi/low but it breaks really easily/doesn't always go. Did I mention they spread Holdem?

Caesar's IN just remodeled the poker room and they have 33 tables. No poker room rate at the Hotel to my knowledge but the poker room is very nice.

It is my understanding that Casino Aztar in Evansville, IN has a good $10-20 Omaha game on tuesdays and PLO on Wednesday and Friday. It is a little more than two hours away from Caesar's IN and I am just learning Omaha so I haven't played Omaha there but plan to soon.
