All this "SEC IS about DEFENSE!" is crap, look at how good their defenses are when they play out of conference teams that go to bowl games.

You need to play a bunch of really crappy teams and one good team like Texas, or play a bunch of close games against good teams, win close, and lose to an awful team like LSU to be considered good.

[/ QUOTE ] Didn't people think that UO's defense was really good when they played USC, how did that work out? The SEC simply doens't play offense like they do in the Pac-10. Teams like LSU look great playing against avg offensive teams and then get rolled when they play out of conference.
