Default Getting back into limit

Well, I was getting killed with my maniacal ways at .5/1 so I decided to give 2/4 a shot but to try to play a bit more conservatively. Did I manage to play TAG here, or was I a freaking LAG again? Damnit.

Raise the flop, you are probably well ahead. Bet out the turn if SB checks to you. Apart from that it looks good.

That was my main question: raise the flop or raise the turn?

Raise the flop, your hand is fairly vulnerable. Make MP2 call 2 cold. If SB calls and checks the turn then bet.

If SB 3 bets you are probably behind and I'd probably call and check/fold the turn UI, but I'm not really sure about this.

These two statements are directly contradictory.

hey, TWP. One good turn deserves another.

This hand is fine. I like waiting for the turn to raise. You are only afraid of 3 cards in the deck. Raising the flop is fine, but raising the turn is finer. Waiting for the river would be very bad. Nice hand.

They are directly contradictory? I seem to feel that way about lots of hands, like JJ with no overcards on the flop.

I'll ask you this: what does it mean to be 'well ahead'? Be as specific as possible.

Thanks. If he wasn't short stacked, does your play differ? Do you fold to a turn 3-bet?
