Default JJ looking for a turn play

Just one of the last hands I played today. I feel that i followed the standard line.

Villian is basically one of those passive donks. 43/2.2/0.4 with a turn aggression of 0.28

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP3 calls, BB folds.

Turn: (4.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises</font>. Hero ?

Current Pot: 7.25 BB

Was the turn bet bad? Is a turn call even worse?

I think the turn bet is all right. Villain could have a gutshot. You don't mind if he folds that gutshot, really, but he'll probably call instead. (And, in any event, I doubt he's betting it if you check to him.) If you're really lucky, he'll call with pocket 7's.

Once your passive opponent raises, I think he has an ace or a ten, and I fold.

fold

2BB to call for 7.25BB, not a good % to find out if this is the one time the donk is making a play with no hand

How would you play the river if he had simply called on the turn and a brick came (assuming you bet the turn)?

Against a passive donk I bet/fold to a raise on the river.
