Default Ultimate Bet rakeback?

I have an account with UB, with no rakeback.
I never play there, and don't foresee playing there in the future without rakeback.

Has anyone successfully closed their old account there, and opened a new one with rb?

Is it difficult?
Does UB expressly forbid it?
It seems they wouldn't discourage this, because they are getting 0 rake from me now.

With a rb deal, I'd obviously be much more inclined to generate some business for them.

Thanks for any help.

I've heard you can email UB a request to shut down your account, and they'll do it. I don't know if this then allows you to open up a new account with the same details.

Anywho, I ran into this problem, and decided to quit poker alltogether.

Soon afterwards my mother, out of the blue, decided to turn pro.

Why not just sign up with PokerShare? That's what I did. You'll get a first deposit bonus, and share payments too.

How does your mother feel about the additional taxes that she now has to pay on her winnings at UB?

I thought you could not do this if you already had a UB account.

I have heard that if your UB account has been inactive for 60 days you may sign up for PokerShare. But I don't have a source on it, so Do So At Your Own Risk.

You are allowed to have active accounts at both sites.

You are able to have accounts at both just like the Prima skins.
