Fold. If there's a 33% chance of him having each hand then,
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV Ks Kh 317694 18.55 1388072 81.06 6538 0.38 0.187 Ac Ad 1388072 81.06 317694 18.55 6538 0.38 0.813 Ks Kh 1191993 69.61 506801 29.60 13510 0.79 0.700 Ac Kd 506801 29.60 1191993 69.61 13510 0.79 0.300 with KK vs. KK being 50/50, you're getting the worst of it on the whole. |

Sorry Mike, but I spent the 30 seconds wondering why you were walking to work.

Re: Better Poker In Less Than 30 Seconds (Part 1)
I despise calculators and all forms of programs. These were my thoughts:
Ignore KK 6 AA, we win 1.2 8 AK, we win 5 and a bit 6.2 + a bit < 7 Plus even it was up to 8 I would still fold, I have a very very hard time believing anyone does this with AK as much as AA. |

Sorry Mike, but I spent the 30 seconds wondering why you were walking to work. [/ QUOTE ] They don't let the indentured servants park in the garage with everyone else. Thus, I get to walk three blocks every day. But, I actually kinda enjoy it because it gives me a few minutes of exercise/mind-wandering time. You probably don't get it, since the only way that you would ever walk three blocks would be if someone dangled a pastry in front of you the whole way... Re: Better Poker In Less Than 30 Seconds (Part 1)
fold. i think we are a big enough underdog the 6 times we are behind to make up for the 8 times we are ahead and the 1 time we tie.
post-gut-reaction calculating: it's close though...the people who are saying it is easy should bust out the calculators after they are done. put a handfull of BBs of dead money in the pot and this swings to a call. |

Are you going to suggest that we all push our AK's all in preflop if someone raises ?

I have a very very hard time believing anyone does this with AK as much as AA. [/ QUOTE ] At lower levels I think idiots can do this with just about any pocket pair. Maybe even more often with TT than AA since they don't want to play the TT but they want to "trap" with the AA. |
