PFR missed flop, fire on the turn?
No hand history, but it happens all the time to me and I assume the rest of you. You pfr with 99 and get 2 overcards, pop with AJ and get a queen on the flop. I generally fire at the flop if it's 3 handed or less. What I'm not sure about is what to do on the turn. If I get 2 calls from donks and a blank hits the turn I'm generally lost. What's CW here? If you check the turn you're getting bet into. Paying a BB to take a shot at a 4.5 BB pot against 2 seems risky, if you bet you won't fold a better hand and if you check a worse hand can bet you out.

Re: PFR missed flop, fire on the turn?
If the board is fairly drawless and there are 2 loose passives who called my flop bet with 2 OCs on board I'll usually check the turn and fold UI. If there are draws or they're known to peel with complete crap I'll bet the turn and take a free showdown.
If you plan on putting another bet in the pot make sure you do it on the turn to avoid giving a free card, costs the same as checking the turn and calling a river bet. |
