Thinking about playing the 5k gauranteed daily

I was thinking about adding the empire poker 5k gauranteed daily tournament to my regular SNG play, I could still play 3 SNG's during the early rounds and if it was getting late I could just stop reloading. Seems like a fun way to change up my game and have a nice shot at a big prize, but I dont want to sacrifice EV for it, advice?

i did it, and it worked out ok for me. im thinking about playing in it more often also. whatever the case, getting in 1000 sngs a month is my first priority.

i've played in 2 of their low buy-in gauranteeds and final tabled in both so i think i may want to try what you're saying [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

they seemed pretty easy

I've won 3 of them and a 15K. They're easy but take a while (5+ hours.)

What strategy are you guys utilizing for these lower buyin MTTs. Would you mind sharing?

Just play solid poker all the way through. Flat out stealing is pretty pointless, but you can pwn limpers a lot, chip up on the bubble, etc. etc. play poker.

My final table results on Empire are 1, 1, 1, 1 so you can really do a lot of ownage against the local calling stations. Of course, winning all the key flips doesn't hurt.
