Default I\'m lag and am in a bad spot, $50NL 6m

The hand before this I was caught making a raise in early position with A8s and being agressive with no hand on the flop or turn then catching an ace on the river splitting the pot with AQ (K933A board), i've been raising alot preflop, with many marginal hands but the previous hand was the first ive shown down in awhile, won many hands betting the pot on the flop, the table is full of alot of tight and agressive players.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Hero ($107.68)
UTG ($96.60)
MP ($46.20)
CO ($30.47)
Button ($30.65)
SB ($34.69)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, 3 folds, SB (poster) completes, Hero raises to $2, UTG calls $2, SB folds.

Flop: ($5.50) Q, 8, A (2 players)
Hero bets $5, UTG raises to $10, Hero calls $5.

Turn: ($25.50) K (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $8, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $33.50

The river bet looks like a post oak bluff, or begging for a call from me if I have an ace as I represent. I have the feeling I was outplayed here but at the same time I am feeling very second best here.

This is why I don't raise with AJ out of the blinds. Nice job building a pot for the villain.

Huh? This is no reason to raise anything.

Regarding your hand, I am calling the turn and re-evaluating on the river.

I have a loose agressive image, why should I check on BB with 1 limper and the SB completing and a pretty good chance to take down the pot right here and to top it off I have a AJ.

What is there to evaluate if you call the turn? If you call the turn you have to call the river, if he is bluffing here he is gonna bet it agian on the river, if i'm behind aces and jacks combined are at best 2 outs and there are 4 outs to a split? Why are you calling this turn bet?

Seriously what the [censored], nothing but crappy advice with shortwinded responces with no justifications, do you guys even read the post and think about it for more than 5 seconds before you make a decision?

I seriously can't see myself folding to 8$ on the turn here. Without reads I call and see what he does on the river... on small stakes often small bet means small hand in my experience, with some exceptions depending on player style ofcourse

You won’t take it down right there because you are playing $50NL. Just because you are playing LAG does not mean you can’t check with AJ in the blinds. This is idiotic and your hand is a perfect example why playing big pots with AJ from the blinds is a bad idea. Additionally, you will keep your opponents guessing when you are raising with 107o in the cutoff, but checking your option with AJ. Position is everything. You played this hand very poorly and unnecessarily bloated a pot that could have been much smaller and manageable. You may have the best hand on the turn, but it almost impossible to tell. Just my opinion.

interesting... raising with AJ OOP puts ya in these spots, but playing LAG, that's par for the course...

limp UTG/calls are always a bit tricky... but player read key here.. does he only put money in the pot with a boss hand or he looser than that?... his raise signals maybe TPTK (putting you on a weaker A) (is he coy enough to smooth call the BB with AK UTG?) or even AQ for aces up....

$8 bet on the turn reeks of "call me"... i'd say good fold
