Butchered TT hand
I am sitting between 2 maniacs on this one. Should of popped the flop right or with a maniac should I try this preflop once in awhile? Anyway the call on the river I am pretty sure I am beat, just can't resist the urge to call, its one of my leaks.

Re: Butchered TT hand
I would raise that flop to $20, if he calls me I will play the hand very passive from that point. If he raises me I will fold. His bet screams weaknes, most of the time if you make a good raise there you will pick it up. SB would prolly fold to such a raise also.

Re: Butchered TT hand
Did you count the outs? I didn't read the results yet, but I think the straight. Mabye mid-high card flush. After seeing those outs I fold my T's.

Re: Butchered TT hand
I agree with raising the flop to somewhere around 20, but you definately have to fold this river since the only thing you beat is a stone cold bluff.

Re: Butchered TT hand
yep that first hand is a textbook case of needing to raise the flop to define the hand and really charge the draws. You're probably ahead but more than half the deck likely changes that on the turn - any ace, face, club, or straight card.
So you have to really push this flop, but not so much that your stack is committed. if you get re-raised you're probably beat and should fold, if you get called proceed with extreme caution. |
