I'd take the free card on the turn here. You pay as much to call a bet on the river and you may save a bet if SB bets and MP calls.

River check behind is fine b/c you'll get called by something that beats you most of the time.

It's tough because although SB did make expensive preflop and flop calls, he hasn't shown any strength, so it's very hard to put him on a hand. He could have a pocket pair that he's worried isn't good enough; he could have missed overs like you do.

And he might call with those missed overs.

You've represented a pretty strong hand, though, in a pot that was multiway to begin with. If you bet, I suspect Villain will fold overs, most of the time. And I think he'll call with a pair.

Driving out another AK, if you can, is worth 6 BBs at this point, though. So although my first instinct is to check, I'm thinking maybe betting is better.
