OT: Psychopaths the best poker players?

I don't know--- my intuition says it would be one of the Extroverted Intuition Thinking types-- either ENTP or ENTJ. (which I am not... my INTP/INTJ classification fits pretty closely with my former career, engineering)

It's not that surprising that introverts with a thinking personality may be more likely to participate in an anonymous internet forum regarding a topic like poker, aspects of which involve intuition and thinking.

I agree generally with your position. The use of the word "psychopath" is irresponsible sensationalism. One could just as easily argue that the research says that people who resemble the "rational man" of classical economic theory make the best traders (and poker players).

In fact, we all know that emotions mess up the decision- making process, at poker, finance,and most other places.
