Default Anyway to Get Away From My Overpair.... JJ

It feels like I'm beat, its always just one more bet Can I fold the flop here, maybe the turn? Both villians didn't seem like they got too out of line or did anything real foolish in the time I saw them play.

I think this is backwards. If you can fold the river without any overcards falling, you're better off just folding the flop and saving 3BB.

Against two sane opponents at least one of them has you beat on the flop and you are drawing nearly dead. Folding the flop would be the right play in my opinion. This hand is extremely read dependent. With no reads I would fold.

After a three bet and a cap the Jacks can't be good. If thay haven't improved by the river (if you even choose to go that far) it should be an easy fold.

Agree though that if you see the turn you must see the river since you are getting somewhere around 19:1 on the call.

Still when you read it you think that you are up against at least one set and possibly a two pair, so folding the flop after that cap can't be that bad.

You can fold the river safely, however without reads it's tough to fold the flop, as it sucks when you fold and it goes check check bet call and A8 wins.

No I'm not, I'm just saying it's bad news. I agree wtih you this is one of those hands that just makes you feel dirty all over. I don't really see another way to play it either. The above reason is exactly why I kept my orignial comments to just that, stick to what you know and all .
