Add to the list:

Super Castlevania IV
A Link to the Past
Final Fantasy II (or IV, whatever)
Final Fantasy III (VI)
Yoshi's Island

EDIT: Also, the Donkey Kong Country games.
And Lufia II. Plenty of stuff to choose from here.

Secret of Mana is better than Secret of Evermore, but Evermore wasn't the sequel. SoM:2 was only released in Japan, I think.

You are joking right? You can have the opinion that Secret of Mana is a better game, but dont say Secret of Mana is a top 3 of all time like its some sort of fact. Chrono Trigger or FF6 is known as the best RPG on the SNES; depending who you ask.

You can read any compilation of top games of all time or top RPG of all time and Chrono Trigger will always be ranked WAY higher then Secret of Mana. In fact, Im not sure I ever seen Secret of Mana on a list of top games. Even on SNES rom/cartridge download sites, Chrono Trigger is downloaded more then Secret of Mana easily.
