Re: 2004 U.S. Poker Championship tonight on ESPN
Basic question-has this been aired before? I see someone says four new episodes, but on Yahoo tv it says the original airdate was last year.
Thanks in advance. |

Anyone notice that they said that that guy was drawing dead when he had runner runner flush draws?

Re: 2004 U.S. Poker Championship tonight on ESPN
They must be using the Hellmuth definition of drawing dead, as in when someone hits his 5-outer on the river to beat Hellmuth, and Phil says "how could you call me drawing dead?".

Re: 2004 U.S. Poker Championship tonight on ESPN
^^ beaten like a redheaded stepchild...
Why did they just say Haber was drawing dead like 8 times? The flop was X[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] X[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (board not paired) and haber had K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] vs the other guys set of kings. Runner diamonds would give him a flush, yet they heavily emphasized how he was drawing dead... |
