Default Does anyone play at Fallsview?

How are the games? I heard the smallest limits are 4-8 (American or Canadian?) and that 2 hour waits are standard. Just looking for some info before I go.

Fallsview is on the Canadian side, so everything is in CDN dollars.

More like 4-6 hours on weekends.

You're much better off playing at the Seneca Niagara casino on the US side of Niagara Falls... the free drinks dont hurt

I played at Fallsview last time I was up at Niagara and I did not like it at all. Something about waiting 5 hours to play 6/12 did just not sit right with me. The games were good but if you play on the weekends get there early.

I think the joint also still closes at 4am or something? I find this surprising because last time I was there it was packed late at night.

I've played 5-5nl there, and 10-20. Both games were fairly good, and if you just play tight you should be able to expect a decent profit.

The waitlists are really bad. However, if you are staying in the hotel, they let you jump to the top of the waitlist (once, for any game they have going).

Games are in CDN. Whenever I've been there, it's usually been a 4-8, two or three 6-12, a 5-5nl, and the rest 10-20 and 20-40. Sometimes they have a 5-10 or 10-20nl, or a 50-100 or 75-150 game.

I railbirded their games. The white chip game is full of Party .5/1 players. I suspect their low red chip games are no different. Many of the highstakes players are Toronto players who don't mind dropping 25 bucks in gas for the roundtrip.....

I can't stand Fallsview for some reason. The layout of the place just annoys me. Course I haven't been since they opened the poker room. I like playing at Rama, but their selection of games is pretty weak.

I have played there many of times, first things first the list is long for seats but I use that to my advantage people get impatient and just end up leaving so I just walk up and say "Oh yeah thats me", if you dont want to be a scumbag like me it's defiently worth the wait the games are insane, and have to be some of the softest games I have ever played in, and is defiently worth the 3 hour wait. I have waited 3 hrs patiently to get a seat in the 20/40 limit game, or the NL games just beacuse I know I will prosper in the game. Also during the middle of the week like Wensdays and Thrusdays I hear there is a regullary spread 50-100 game and 75-150 game spread and I hear they are also some of the softest games on the east coast, If I ever get up there during the week days, i've heard that alot of the 20/40 guys up there that dont have the roll to be playing that high still play in those games just beaucse how easy they are to beat.

I play there all the time.
the smallest game is 6/12 biggest is there 5/5 3k max. Starting this weekend though the old Casino [Niagara Fallsview] is opening lower limit tables.
Also to agree, go to Seneca, nicer staff, IMHO and they understand whats going on.
Oh yea the candian action is incredible

I was there a few saturdays ago. I waited 4+ hours to sit. Then my 10-20 table had 2 empty seats for 2 hours? No wonder the wait is so long. They had 6-12, 10-20 one 20-40 , a 5 5 NL 500Max and a 10-20NL 3G Max. The 10-20 was decent; beatable but no picnic. I will never go back. I dont like waiting 4 1/2 hours to sit down and have to bug the floor to fill seats. Also they close the poker room from 4am - noon ! WTF? A casino closing? One "plus" to the crazy waits is that you can phone in and put your name on the list. Now I know why no other card room does this.

Id rather play Brantford, Port Perry or Rama.
