Yes, Arod has been better in the postseason as a Yankee than Jeter.

[/ QUOTE ]

As a Yankee fan who respects both of these players, I vehemently disagree.

However, Jeter has had much more of a sample size.

[/ QUOTE ]

As someone who has looked at the stats (and watched the games), I know I am right.

[/ QUOTE ]

you sure about that?

the 2004 links are all screwed up at espn.com, but 2005:

jeter .333/.348/.967
arod .133/.435/.635

[/ QUOTE ]

Pre 2005:

Jeter--.306 .380 .456
Arod--.330 .395 .583

Those numbers aren't close.

irrelevant to your statement that arod's been better in the playoffs as a yankee than jeter. most of his career playoff numbers came as a mariner.

you said his stats as a yankee were better, then listed his stats for his career. that means absolutely nothing. personally, i don't care what he did in seattle.

Huskiez specifically asked about games whilst in Seattle, so I posted them.

I'm not sure which post you are referring to, but I'd guess it's the one regarding you watching games since 1995.

I was asking if you had been watching games since 1995, because then it would be obvious to you that Jeter has performed better in the postseason (since 1995) than ARod has as a Yankee (since 2004). NOT career wise in the postseason.

The statement I completely disagreed with was

[ QUOTE ]
Yes, Arod has been better in the postseason as a Yankee than Jeter.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your reference of ARod's overall postseason stats is meaningless in this regard.

Where did I ask this?

I think you misinterpreted my statement. See my previous post.
