Default Sour Grapes? I get tired of draw downs!

Lately, it seems as though there a great number of crappy hands that I get taken out on in SNG's. Does this happen to others? The following is an example, and I can give others. Here, he was holding a king, but I would never chase with his hand. Take a look, and let me know. I just get po'd when crap hands seem to fairly consistently draw out on top pairs I hold. Maybe I'm just paranoid....

Aren't you a sweetheart. Not trying to waste time. I guess my point that wasn't well made is that on internet poker, stuff happens that I have RARELY seen at live tables with the frequency it happens online. Might you address this without the sarcasm please?

These are [censored] bad beat posts and nobody gives a [censored] about them so get the [censored] off the forum.

Great way to make a first impression, [censored]. Everyone here takes way worse beats 198347091823740987 times a day, but they don't come here bitching about it.

Yes this happens to the rest of us. As for your hands

NOBODY GIVES A [censored]

That's because you see 30 hands/hr at a live table vs 120.

You probably get more straight flushes playing online than live, but I doubt you question their validity.

You get dealt more hands online, so you see more bad beats. Dont like it? Then get off the net and play your 30-40 hands live.

Or better yet, get off our forums until you offer something productive besides inane whining.

Sound a lot like the d@#*heads who complain about their bad beats during tournaments!

I think your query could be taken seriously.

The situation you described may well be a case of your opponent perceiving that you went all in with any two, so he called with better than any two.

It happens in live games as well as online. In fact, much worse happens in live games as well.

Two solutions would be 1) do not play and 2) play more conservatively. For example, you did not have to go all in with your QQ; your opponent may have called a raise, but I doubt he would have reraised. You could have backed off when the K flopped; you would be in a bad position after doing so, but you would still be in the game.

Many here (perhaps including yourself) despise this kind of play, and it is probably true that, in the long run, you will win more often with your QQ push than not. However, every time you would win with your QQ push you would also win--less chips, of course-- with a more conservative strategy.
