Default I\'m calling! (too much?)

Here is 1 hand.
9 handed 10 max.
Villain knows his shiz after the flop, pf he coldcalls with crap like 92o OOP. He is loose and not aggressive.
Hero is on SB with [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J
Preflop: 1 folds, unknown calls, 2 folds, villain calls, 2 folds, Hero competes, BB checks
Flop: [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8
Hero bets, BB calls, unknown calls, villain raises, hero calls, BB folds, unknown calls

Turn: [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6
Hero bets, unknown folds, villain raises, hero calls

River: [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q
Hero checks, villain bets, hero calls.
So is it good? or? I don't think this call down was too good . Advices please.

Hand 2 10 handed.
SB is pretty good player, plays tight and aggressive game but is pretty loose pf.

Hero is MP3 with [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K
3 folds, hero raises, unknown (poster) calls, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls.
Flop: [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A
SB bets, BB folds, Hero calls, unknown folds
Turn: [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9
BB bets, Hero calls

River: [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7
BB bets, Hero calls
Should I have folded when the A fell on the board? Or is it good to call this down, the limit is $0.25/$0.5
Any help appreciated!

First, try to learn to use the hand converter. It will make it easier for others to read.

Hand 1

Raise pf. I think the flop bet and call is good. I think on the turn you check/call and on the river it's a check/fold. Betting the turn may be O.K. but I think I hold off because the turn card put 4 to a straight on.

Hand 2
I think you're in a raise or fold situation. Your WA/WB here (way ahead or way behind). I raise this flop and bet the turn if checked to. I then check behind on the river. I think folding on the flop is a little weak but it's close.

Hand 1 - Raise PF. 3bet the flop. I hate your stop and go on the turn here, it's very likely villain could be raising the flop with T9, 89, A9, or just any 9 for that matter.

Hand 2 - I prefer raising the flop, betting the turn, and taking a free showdown (assuming the villain cooperates, which they usually do).

With all the converter problems we've been having, I'll never criticize someone for typing a hand out by hand. It's far, far better than putting in a raw HH. To OP, it's generally to write J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] than [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J.

Hand 1, I 3bet the flop. You very likely have the best hand.

Hand 2, I like. Against a more passive player, you could fold.

Wookie and testaaja,

Sorry I didn't mean to criticize. Just didn't know if he knew about the converter.

I agree. And if you get reraised on flop, maybe call and fold at turn if K doesnt come out and someone bets. (Of course if opponents bets almost everything to SD, let him do so and call all the way.)

I personally don't think a fold on the flop in hand two would be too weak tight. This guy donking to the preflop raiser means a weak ace or a 3 that is hoping to get raised like 95% of the time IMO. I guess if you significatnly disagree with that approximation then you would continue.
