Default Big stack play

I play the 55s. I'm starting to think that a leak of mine is not knowing what to do with a big stack. I usually dont change my game too much, just open up a little with speculative hands vs healthy stacks. I don't play any more big pair hands really. I don't really try to steal anything till at least level 4. I open up my calling of pushes range a little.

I'm wondering if I'm being too weak tight. I know big stack strategy involves pushing around the table, but I never seem to find an ooppotrunity to do it, and I'm wondering if my standards are off. I usually just end up folding my way to the late stages and an average stack and playing from there.

Some hands for review:

Default Re: Big stack play

Hand #1: I don't mind checking here, your in position. But raising enough to commit your opponent is also a viable play. It really depends on how the SB plays.

Hand #2: Raise to 150/200 everytime.

Hand #3: Fold

Hand #4: Fold

Hand #5: Fold

Hand #6: Tough decision, knowing nothing about the button I'd fold. However I would've bet the flop, about 400. Your not committing yourself vs. the button, leave yourself a good amount of chips, and find out where you stand.

Hope this helps
